Order Currency Online for Home Delivery

If you live in the United States, you can now order currency online and have it delivered right to your door. Major and minor currencies are available for purchase and can be shipped to your home or office. You can even select next-day delivery.*

To order currency for delivery, simply login to Online Banking and select Online Foreign Currency Delivery from the Self Service menu.

Currency exchange rates applied at the BFSFCU Foreign Exchange Department may be different than online rates offered through Currency Online. Also, more currencies for immediate purchase and preferred denominations may be available in-store. Please contact the Foreign Exchange Department at (202) 212-6440 to find out which method suits your needs.

*Minimum order: $250 US equivalent, Maximum order: $3000 US equivalent. Must be shipped to the US address associated with your debit or credit card and cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box; Shipping charges apply based on delivery time-frame requested and must be ordered by 5pm to receive next-day delivery.

How does the rate discount work?

The 3% discount is a reduction of the margin/mark-up with no fee on the transaction. The standard mark-up/margin may be different at each Travelex location and different for each currency. The 3% reduction will be taken at the time of the transaction and will be a reduction of the standard base-rate offered for purchase and sale transactions of foreign currency. You must present your BFSFCU Debit or Credit card to be eligible for the promotion, but you are not required to pay with it.

Please note that if you pay by credit card, it may be recognized as a cash advance, and charged as such, because you will be purchasing currency. Travelex Store and ATM Locator BFSFCU members enjoy discounts on foreign currency transactions at Travelex stores in the United States and Canada. They can also withdraw US Dollars and foreign currency surcharge free at Travelex ATMs located in the United States, Belgium, France, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
