Direct Deposit

Members can arrange to have all or any part of a recurring check deposited and start earning dividends immediately. Direct Deposit is safer and more convenient than the mail and you can customize the allocation of funds to make loan payments or savings deposits. All you need to get started is BFSFCU’s routing and transit number, 2540-7417-0, and your account number. When specifying your account (member) number, please only include the numeric digits.

American Express Travelers Checks

When you travel, safeguard your funds by carrying fee-free American Express travelers checks. These U.S. dollar travelers checks are available in various denominations. If your travelers checks are ever lost or stolen, they can be refunded worldwide.

American Express Gift Checks and Gift Cards

American Express gift checks can eliminate the guesswork in trying to find the perfect gift for any occasion. gift checks are available in denominations of $25, $50, and $100, and they are refundable if lost or stolen. Purchase gift checks at any of our branch locations at a fee of $2.50 each. Gift cards are also available for purchase at our branch locations.

Notary and Signature Guarantee Services

Notary Public services are available in our Member Relations section for a small fee. Signature guarantees, required by all transfer agents before an individual can sell or transfer securities, are also obtainable from our Member Relations staff.

SafetyLink Overdraft Protection

Guard your checking account with SafetyLink Overdraft Protection. This free service covers checks and electronically debited (“ACH”) items that are presented against insufficient funds. With SafetyLink, available funds from one of your savings accounts can be transferred up to 6 times per month to cover checking account balance “shortfalls.”

Credit Card AutoPay

Members can set up a recurring automatic payment to their credit card account using this convenient service. Just let us know the amount of the payment and the account to withdraw from and BFSFCU will automatically make the transfer on the payment due date on your credit card statement. You can choose the minimum payment, an alternate payment amount, or to pay off the entire balance.
